Background: Corielle Yarde was an outstanding high school forward, scoring 2,283 points, which is 2nd all-time. Three times she was named the Berks County Player of the Year. Corielle was also named All-State three times: Third Team her sophomore year, Second Team her junior year and First Team her senior year. She played four years at DI Marist and is the 7th all-time scorer with 1,470 points. Her teams won four MAAC Championships and made the NCAAs four times. Marist’s four-year record was 112-23. Corielle was a two-time All-MAAC selection and she was the MAAC Player of the Year her senior year. She was the first female named Marist Sportsperson of the Year. Corielle is a member of the Schuylkill Valley Wall of Fame, and she received the Pride of Schuylkill Valley Award.
