Background: Dave was named All-Berks County his senior year at Governor Mifflin High School. At Penn State, he was a 4-year letter winner. As a senior, he was captain and was named MVP. Dave scored a career high 33 points in an upset win against 5th ranked Syracuse. Dave also had a 14-year career in the European Basketball League as a player, player/coach, and general manager of teams in Belgium, Switzerland (National Champions in 1982-1985), and Spain. In addition, he was the head coach of the Swiss Women’s National Team from 1983-1985. He was inducted into the Berks County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame in 2014.
