Background: Dick was an outstanding 6-2 high school guard who scored 1,942 points at Kutztown High School under Coach John Silan. He is Kutztown’s all-time leader scorer and 7th all-time in Berks County history. Dick is believed to be one of the best pure shooters of all-time. He was a four year starter at Kutztown and led them to two Berks County titles and two District 3 titles. He was inducted into the Kutztown High School Athletic Hall Of Fame in 2000.
