Background: Eric was a three year starter at Reading High where as a sophomore he scored 30 points, which at the time was a Geigle Complex record for a Reading player. In his junior year, Reading beat the great Sam Bowie’s Lebanon team for the District 3 Championship. In his senior year, Reading won their first Berks County Championship. Prior to that year, Reading played in the Central Penn Conference since its inception. Eric was named All-Berks County his junior year. He had a three year career at Division I Radford University (Big South Conference) where he was a 3 year starter while playing in 82 games. He scored 936 career points (11.41 PPG) and tallied 615 rebounds (7.5 RPG) at Radford. He led his team in rebounding during his sophomore and senior years.
