Background: Jack was an outstanding high school player for Reading Central Catholic and he played collegiately at Kutztown University. He was the men’s basketball coach at North Schuylkill High School and at Boyertown High School for a total of 33 years. His teams won two North Schuylkill League titles and one Chesmont League title. His overall record was 250-132. Jack was the men’s basketball coach at Alvernia College for 10 years. His teams reached the NCAA Division III Final Four in 1997 and his overall record was 105-102. He is member of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame (Berks County Chapter), the Alvernia Sports Hall of Fame, and the Berks Catholic Sports Hall of Fame (CC).
