Background: Jodie scored 1,021 points as a four-year starter for Mt. Penn. Jodie was First Team All-County her junior and senior years. Jodie led the Mountaineers to the District 3 playoffs all four years. In her senior year, the Mountaineers upset Susquehanna Township, the top seed in the opening round of District playoffs. She was named to the Mid State Pennsylvania All-Star Team in 1977 and was the Duke DeLuca East Team MVP. Jodie went to play on the Junior Varsity team at East Stroudsburg for two years. Jodie was a Berks County Basketball official for 19 years.
