Background: Joe Reedy led the Berks Conference in scoring as a senior at Central Catholic High School when he averaged 27.5 PPG. He was a First Team All-Berks pick and received the Jack Flower and Dr. Richard Kleppinger Awards as the top senior male basketball player in Berks County. He received a full basketball scholarship to Division 2 Mount St. Mary’s College where he scored 1,305 points and led the team in scoring and rebounding as a junior and senior. He was inducted into the Berks County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame in 2012.
