Background: Mike Eckenroth was an outstanding high school guard. Mike continued his success at Albright, where he was a four-year starter. In his senior year, Mike was selected to the MAC-North Division First Team. Known for his exceptional speed and quickness, Mike scored 1,190 points. Mike was voted Outstanding Senior Athlete at Albright and also received the Eugene L. Shirk Athletic Award. His success led to him being named to Albright’s All-Century Team. Mike is a member of the Albright Athletic Hall of Fame.
