Background: Rick was named to the All-City and All-Berks teams his senior year. He was a two year starter at Wesley JC and Albright College. He holds Albright’s assists records for game (13), season (181), season average (7.4), and career average (6.4). He was head coach at Reading High, Kutztown University, Alvernia College, Erie East HS, Steel-High and Lakeside HS in Ohio. His 33 year coaching record is 465-242 which includes three Berks County titles and one District title at Reading, seven District 3 titles and three State Championships at Steel-High. He led Kutztown University to their first ever NCAA tournament and is a member of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame Berks County Chapter.
