Background: Stacey was the first Berks County girls’ player to score over 2,000 points. She was a four year varsity starter who scored 2,034 points in 110 games with a 18.5 PPG average playing for Coach Dean Lengel. During her senior year she averaged 30.8 PPG and led the Cougars deep into the PIAA state playoffs and was named All-State. She was twice named First Team All-Berks County. Stacey could play every position and was an adept ball handler, passer and shooter. Even to the casual fan, she easily stood out as the best player on the court with her fluid style. She currently stands as the fourth highest scorer in Berks history. She was inducted into the Kutztown Sports Hall of Fame in 1999. Stacey received a full Division 1 basketball scholarship to Manhattan College where she also started all four years. At Manhattan, she scored 1,665 points and was named all-conference on two occasions and was named an Academic All-American her senior year while majoring in Engineering. She is a member of the Manhattan College Hall of Fame. Stacey Jack and Wendy Davis are still considered the two best Berks County female basketball players in history. She was inducted into the Berks County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame in 2012.
