Background: Tim was outstanding athlete at Muhlenberg High School. He was an All-Division pick in basketball in his senior year. He was named the Outstanding Male Athlete at Muhlenberg in 1964. Tim went on to become a top basketball official in Berks County. He worked 65 District 3 tournament games over a 25 year officiating career. He officiated six District 3 championship finals and worked 37 PIAA state tournament games. His resume includes four Eastern final championship games and the pinnacle, a state AAAA championship game in 1989. He was selected to work 21 Berks County Championship games during his career. He was a CBOA college official for four years. Tim was a gentleman who was well respected by his peers and coaches alike. He served as a mentor to many young basketball officials. Tim was inducted into the Berks County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame in 1999.
