Background: Earned All-State honors and was a three time All-County pick (1968-70) at Conrad Weiser, earning a scholarship to Rider University. Became the first Weiser player to score 1,000 points finishing with 1,406 points, a school record at the time and third-most in 2019. Led the Scouts to the Berks Conference championship as a senior in 1970 and to a 25-0 start before falling in the District 3 championship game. Inducted into the Conrad Weiser Sports Hall of Fame.
