College(s): West Chester University

Background: Adelle scored 1,180 career points at Holy Name where she was a four year letter winner and three year starter for Coach Kevin Calabria. She was the team MVP and was First Team All-Berks County her senior year. Adelle led the Blue Jays to three County playoff berths and to the PIAA Eastern Semi-Finals in 1987 where they lost to Pine Grove. She was named Holy Name’s Most Outstanding Female Senior Athlete. She earned a basketball scholarship to Division 2 West Chester University where she had a stellar four year career. She was elected Captain her senior year and led the team in assists and minutes played in 1992 and 1993. West Chester was the ECAC Division 2 Runner-up in 1991 and the ECAC Division 2 Champions in 1992. Adelle is West Chester’s fourth All-Time Career leader in assists with 366. She is the President and a founding member of the 3 Point Goal Organization which provides mentoring and scholarship opportunities to female high school basketball players in Berks. Adelle is a member of the Holy Name Sports Hall of Fame and was inducted into the 2018 Pennsylvania State Sports Hall of Fame Berks County Chapter.
