Background: Linda was an outstanding three sport high school athlete and a pioneer of girls’ basketball in Berks County. She was the first ‘5 on 5’ girls basketball coach at Governor Mifflin High School where she coached for 10 seasons (1969 -1980) while compiling an overall record of 135 – 75. Her Mustang teams participated in the first three Berks County Championship games where they won titles in 1974 and 1975. She also won five Division titles. Linda is a member of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame Berks County Chapter and the Governor Mifflin Athletic Hall of Fame.
