Background: In 1985, Brian led his Reading Central Catholic High School team to a District 3 title and the State Championship. He scored a career high and District 3 record 35 points in the 1984 District 3 Championship game. During his senior year, he averaged 14 points, 16 rebounds, 3 assists and two blocks. For those accomplishments, he received the Dr. Richard Kleppinger Award as the County’s most outstanding male player. He was a four year starter at F&M where he scored 1,021 points and was named First Team All-Conference in 1988.He is F&M’s fifth all-time rebounder (729), sixth all-time leader in assists (397), ninth all-time leader in games played (115) and 17th all-time leader in steals (171). F&M reached the NCAA Division III Sweet 16 all four years he played and reached the Elite 8 his senior year.
