Background: Missy scored 1,354 points, grabbed 1,041 rebounds and had 272 blocks in her illustrious Wilson High School basketball career. She was a two time All Berks selection and was named Berks Player of the Year when she led the Bulldogs to their first County Championship. She was named 3rd Team All-State for her senior year accomplishments. Missy was named to the All-Time Girls Basketball Team in 1999 by the Reading Eagle. She received a full Division 1 basketball scholarship to Virginia Tech University where she was a four year letter winner. She scored 926 career points while pulling down 610 rebounds. She is currently 4th on Tech’s all time one season field goal percentage list at 57.3% and she shot at a 52% clip for her college career. Missy was named to Virginia Tech’s Team of the 80’s. Wilson Athletic HOF inductee 1992.
