Background: Dennis was named first team All-County his senior year at Holy Name High School where he was the leading scorer and rebounder during the 1976-1977 season. He was a four year letter winner at Franklin & Marshall and garnered Division 3 All-American honors in 1981. He was awarded 1st Team All-Conference honors in 19˜79, 19˜80, and 19˜81 and led the Diplomats to the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) title and the Division 3 Final Four in 1978-1979. The name Dennis Westley is all over the F and M record books: 14th all-time leading scorer (1,337), 9th all-time rebounder (666), and 20th all-time leader in games played (111). Dennis was elected to the F&M Hall of Fame in 1993 and he was named to the MAC All-Century Team as part of the MAC 100 Centennial Celebration in 2013. He is also a member of the Holy Name High School Hall of Fame. He was inducted into the Berks County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame in 1996.
