Background: Bobby comes from a long line of great Holy Name High School point guards who played for Coach Lloyd Wolf. Many HN alumni consider Bobby to be at the top of that list. He was a two year starter who scored 820 points and led his team in points, assists and steals. He was captain of his senior year team that won the Philadelphia Suburban Catholic League Championship. Bobby was a two time first team selection on the Philadelphia Suburban Catholic League All-Star Team and he was twice named first team All-City. He received Honorable Mention All-State honors in 1972. Bobby was a four year starter at Mount St. Mary’s University playing under Naismith Hall of Fame Coach Jim Phelan. He was named All-State Division 2 and All Mason Dixon League during his college career.
