Background: Page scored 1,899 points and is Daniel Boone’s 2nd all-time leading scorer and 5th all-time in Berks County history. She was a four year starter at Elizabethtown College where she scored 1,757 points. Page is Elizabethtown’s career leader in points, free throws (453), and field goals (651). She was a 3-time All-American and she was named the Division 3 Player of the Year in 1984. She was a Kodak All-American and American Women Sports Federation All-American. Her four year playing career record at Elizabethtown was 105-11. In her sophomore year, Elizabethtown won the National Championship followed by second place finishes in 1983 and 1984. She was named MVP of the National Tournament in 1983 and 1984. In 2006, Page was one of only 5 former players to be honored for selection to the NCAA Division 3 25th Anniversary Women’s Basketball Team. Page coached the girls varsity basketball team at Penn Manor High School for ten years. Zena was inducted into the Berks County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame in 1998.
