Background: Zena Edwards, a 1985 Hamburg grad, finished her career with 2,231 points, then the Berks record and still second on the all-time list in Berks County behind Wendy Davis. She averaged 26.7 points as a senior. She also finished with 1,185 rebounds. She was a three-time All-Berks selection before playing at Division 1 Mount Saint Mary’s. She was inducted into the Mount Athletic HOF in 2000 for basketball and softball. Zena was inducted into the Berks County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Hall of Fame in 1998.
