Background: Charlie was an outstanding high school basketball player who scored 1,229 points. He scored a school record 41 points in a win against Downingtown. He was First Team All Ches-Mont his senior year and received a full scholarship to University of Pennsylvania. At Penn, Charlie was a two-year starter with career averages of 10.50 PPG and 5.1 RPG in 43 games. He received an invitation to try out for the New York Knicks. He graduated from Penn with a degree in Chemical Engineering and worked in the oil industry. After college he excelled in highly competitive basketball leagues in Texas and California. He currently lives in lake View Terrace, California.
