Background: Stan was a two-year starter at Reading. In his junior year, Reading won the State Eastern Final on their way to play General Braddock in the State Final. In his senior year Reading won the Central Penn Championship and Stan led the team in scoring with 19.7 PPG and rebounding at 6.5 RPG. He started two years at Wesley Junior College and scored 1,028 points (19.4 PPG) and was named All-Conference both years. He received a full scholarship to Catholic University and became a two year starter with career averages of 13.08 PPG and 7.13 RPG and shot 50% from the field in 52 games. Stan played professionally for Penarol in Argentina and started his two years with Penarol. The team won the league championship his first year. He coached St. Margaret’s CYO team for many years.
