Background: Charlie was two year starter and outstanding high school point guard for Reading. He led the Red Knights to the Eastern Finals in his senior year. He played the point at Kutztown University for two years and was a 42% 3-PT shooter (3rd All-Time) and had 74 career blocks (10th All-Time). He was assistant basketball coach at Albright for two years and was the head coach of the inaugural season of the Reading Wizards of the American Basketball Association.
