Background: Cindy was an outstanding high school player who scored 1,199 points. She was a three-year starter and she was a member of Mifflin’s County Championship team (1984). Her senior year, she was an All-Berks County selection and she was All-State Honorable Mention. She earned a full scholarship to Division I Siena College. Cindy was a three-year starter and she scored 911 points. She was the women’s coach at Schuylkill Valley (1991-1998). Her teams were frequent qualifiers for the county and district play-offs and she was named the Division’s Coach of the Year when her team won the Division III Championship (1997). She and her daughter Madison are believed to be the only mother and daughter 1,000 point scorers in Berks County history.
