Background: Scott Gabel was an outstanding high school forward who scored 967 points. In his senior year, Scott was selected All-Chestmont. While continuing his career at Susquehanna, he scored 1,414 points (9th All-Time) and collected 640 rebounds (11th all-time). Scott was the ECAC Rookie of the Year and a two-time MAC North All-Star. His team record was 70-36, and his teams qualified for the MAC playoffs three times, along with a NCAA berth. Scott is a member of the Susquehanna University Sports Hall of Fame.
