What We Do


The annual Reading Berks Basketball Assoc. Award is given to high school senior student-athletes to continue their post secondary education.

The annual Dr. Richard Kleppinger Award is given to the most outstanding senior boys basketball player.

  • Edwin Suarez, the 2022 Dr. Richard Kleppinger Award Winner from Muhlenberg High School has not selected a school as yet.

The annual Bob Harbach Officiating Award is given to a veteran official who has made significant contributions to Berks basketball.

  • The 2023 winner is Paula Ogeka.

Inductees in the Berks Country Basketball Hall of Fame are recognized for their efforts as players, coaches and promoting the sport.
